FTM 2014 – Highlights Tour!

Ever wonder what’s going on in Family Tree Maker 2014?  Come for this whirlwind tour where all seven workplaces will be covered in one, single session. Significant features in each will be highlighted. Some are helpful, some are important and some are cool!

Gain an understanding and appreciation for what FTM can do by looking at all phases with this complete overview.
These are the seven work areas of Family Tree Maker 2014.
1. Plan Workspace – whole tree operations including TreeSync.
2. People Workspace – the principle work area of a genealogical program.
3. Places Workspace – reveals all locations referenced in the tree and what’s connected to each.
4. Media Workspace – maintenance of all linked image and multi-media files.
5. Sources Workspace – where data documentation is.
6. Publish Workspace – charts and reports galore!
7. Web Search Workspace – transfer data without retyping from Internet web pages.
8. BONUS - useful program functions and cool tools.

The meeting is open to the public; attendees do not need to be members of SCGS.
