from Dick Humphrey, leader of the FTM User Group.
Beginning with Family Tree Maker
Part 3 – Connecting with Ancestry.com
Today the Internet provides unparalleled access to information for the family history researcher. This final session of the three-part series introduces Family Tree Maker’s built-in Web Search functionality to add facts and people without having to retype the information.
FTM’s TreeSync™ operation lets FTM users share their FTM tree to an online tree at Ancestry.com (and vice versa) and will keep the two in sync. Leader Dick Humphrey will detail the steps and cautions involved.
Content of Parts 1 and 2 is not required to understand and benefit from this presentation. Experienced users will also appreciate the review of these features of Family Tree Maker.
