Back To Basics In DNA presented by Cheri Mello

Can you name the four different types of DNA that can be tested for genealogical purposes? Are you aware that there are different patterns of inheritance? It is important to define what genealogical puzzle you are trying to solve and then look for the DNA tool that is most suited to solve it.

Presenter: Cheri Mello was a math teacher and moderator for the former America Online Genealogy Forum where she hosted the forum's weekly Portuguese Chat. Currently, she lectures on DNA, genealogy software, as well as Portuguese genealogy.
