Guest post from Dick Humphrey, leader of the FTM User Group
Citing Your Sources – the Ancestry Way!
Do you find it hard to add source data to your new facts?
Family Tree Maker and Ancestry online trees both have functionality to
automatically generate and attach source citations to facts as you add them. In
this next session, we will take a close look at both processes and compare the
results.
If you would like assistance while you actively work on your
FTM tree, bring your laptop along and work in the library. Leader Dick Humphrey
will come early at 2:30 pm and be available for help and questions before the
4:00 pm user group session.
A handout, “How to Insert a Missed Generation,” will be
available -- #6 in Dick’s “How To …” series.
Remember that all previous session handouts and “How To” tips
are available in a binder in the SCGS library. You are welcome to peruse them
there and make copies if you wish.
