Family Tree Maker Alternatives - Part 3
This is the third and final session comparing Family Tree Maker with RootsMagic and Legacy. We will concentrate on the handling of charts and reports, specifically pedigree charts, family group sheets and individual reports. And as before, this will be from the point of view of seasoned Family Tree Maker users.
As of this writing, there has been no more news from Software MacKiev regarding Family Tree Maker 2014. Remember that these new owners of FTM have announced that they are concentrating on improvements in performance and stability. We do not expect any functional changes in FTM at this time; so updating to their 2014.1 version will not add anything new.
Dick Humphrey will be at the library by 2:30 pm on Sunday April 10, 2016 before the meeting to chat and provide FTM assistance.
