Family Tree Maker 2017 Announced!

At Roots Tech in February, Software MacKiev announced that the long-awaited version of Family Tree Maker with the replacement technology for TreeSync will be released in March – the first major release in over three years! Attendees at RootsTech were able to test drive a preliminary edition, but other than a flyer listing four major features, no further details have yet been made available.  At our March 12th FTM User Group meeting, we will review what information is available at that time.

Family Tree Maker’s Descendant Chart

This month’s topic is the Descendant Chart in Family Tree Maker. Various options for layout and included content will be demonstrated including some powerful features available in the Preview Panel. We will also take a brief look at the Charting Companion plugin for Family Tree Maker.

User group leader, Dick Humphrey, will be at the library by 2:30 pm to chat and provide FTM assistance.
