The SCGS Writer's Group will meet on Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the SCGS Library in Burbank.
1.) Relationships (marriage, divorce, first loves, best
friends, etc).
2.) Write a Haiku about a mother/maternal figure.
*The Haiku poem structure consists of three lines: first
line, 5 syllables, second line, 7 syllables, and third (last line), 5
syllables. Here is a link to the poets.org’s page on Haiku, which includes a
description and examples of Haiku for your reference:
