Looking for a place to learn more about genealogy and how to do family research? Lunch & Learn is simply the best place to do just that. Free and open to the public, it is one of the SCGS's most popular educational programs.

Insider's Guide to US GenWeb” 

1:00 to 2:10 p.m.
A free genealogy web service staffed by about 2000 volunteers. 
Learn the navigation tricks the volunteers use.

And

Introduction to the US GenWeb Archives

2:20 to 3:30 p.m.

A digital library containing enough genealogical materials to fill 17000 books.

Joy Fisher is a semi-retired Chemical Engineer. She has over 45 years of genealogical experience. She has given genealogy presentations in Boston, Charleston, Salt Lake City and Mesa, Arizona. She has regularly taught classes at the Family History Library in West Los Angeles and at the Culver City Senior Citizens' Center.

FREE. Open to the public. The library will not be open for research.
