The goals of the MacAulay Surname DNA Project are to:
• Utilize DNA testing to investigate relationships and deep ancestral roots and emigration patterns.• Assist group members and other historically related families determine family locations and movements.• Help people prove or disprove theories regarding their family history or ancestry by providing additional resources.• Share with other DNA projects information on Irish and Scottish genealogy and family histories.
Presenter: Jim McAulay has been the prime administrator of the MacAuley DNA project for more than 10 years and has extensive experience with Y-STR and Big Y test data. He is a commissioner for the southwest USA for Clan Macaulay and convenes a clan tent at Highland games in Southern California, Southern Nevada, and Arizona. He is CEO of his own promotional products company and operates online stores ClanMacAulayUSA on eBay and CelticPrideUSA on Etsy.
