SCGS Salt Lake Research Trip 

Is Cancelled for 2020.

 SCGS hopes to reinstate 
this well-loved research event in 2021.

The LDS Family History Library was closed starting at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020 until further notice. Since no one can predict its reopening and future airline availability is also uncertain, the decision has been made to cancel this year’s trip. SCGS hopes to reinstate this well-loved research event in 2021.

August 18-August 25, 2019

Interested in doing research at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City?  Why not join a group of SCGS members for the 2019 Research Trip? 

The 2018 SCGS Salt Lake City Research Trip to the Family History Library was a great success.  Sixteen SCGS members spent a week researching at the Family History Library.  

The 2019 trip will be from Sunday, August 18 to Sunday, August 25.  Accommodations will be at the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel, next door to the Family History Library and across the street from Temple Square.  The cost for the 7-night stay is $756 for standard double room.  The fee includes the hotel room and taxes and transportation to and from the Salt Lake City International Airport.  Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to Salt Lake City.

Accommodations will include 7 nights at the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel, next door to the Family History Library. The fee includes the hotel room for 7 nights plus transportation to and from the Salt Lake City Airport.
