[CA-SCGS] SCGS Writers Group Meeting - February 14, 2016

The SCGS Writers Group will hold their next meeting

on Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the SCGS Research Library.

Time is spent at each meeting "freewriting," writing and sharing what the members have written. Each month the group chooses a topic for writing and discussion at the following meeting.

For our February meeting there are two writing prompts:

1. The first prompt is to write approximately 250 words on something related to the month of February. As we discussed in our last meeting, there are a lot of holidays to choose from: Valentine’s Day, Groundhog’s Day, Chinese New Year, etc. 
2. The second prompt is to write approximately 250 words describing how you became interested in genealogy, and genealogy writing.

The Group welcomes writers of all experience levels from beginner to expert. Come learn how to turn the dry statistics of your "Begats, Beweds, and Begones" into lively tales of family and situation. No RSVP is needed.
