‘Click-to-Cite’ Source Citations in Family Tree Maker
A unique feature of Family Tree Maker is its ability to create source citations from online record sources using only mouse clicks! No manual entry of text, no ‘copy and paste’ operations! It functions only with data sources hosted by Ancestry.com.
How this sourcing action occurs within the Web Search workspace will be demonstrated and the benefits and pitfalls of this approach explained. Following up, the October meeting will trace similar actions with Ancestry online member trees and the results produced in FTM via TreeSync.
