[CA-SCGS] German Interest Group Meeting--Saturday, August 19, 2017

Researching your family tree and finding new, exciting, and sometimes surprising family connections? 

Join the SCGS German Interest Group at their next meeting to be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at the SCGS Family Research Library. Don't miss out!
 
 

Linda Mustion has been involved with genealogy since 1983; wanting to learn more about her father's side of the family. Linda is also a Military Researcher, Historian and Biographer for Burbank and Glendale's war dead.   In 2011 , Linda was named the 2011 Patriot of the Year by the Glendale Chamber of Commerce.
 

Currently, she is a member of the San Fernando Valley Chapter, NSDAR and a Find A Grave Photo Volunteer and a Vietnam Traveling Wall Docent. Linda has been an SCGS Librarian and is currently a fill-in Librarian and the SCGS Historian and on the SCGS board.. She has also volunteered at Jamboree with the last few years in the Text Zone.  Her ancestral family names include: Mustion, Crouch, Hilton, Hansen, Coursey.  Linda's presentation is all about locating your German Family in findagrave.com




The goal of the SCGS German Interest Group is to provide a wide range of resources both inside and outside the SCGS Library to help trace German families. Throughout 2017, our German Group will renew its "Routing Our Roots" as well as present short programs on German Exiles in Los Angeles County, History of German Towns, Human Interest Stories on folks of German Heritage, learning German Words and Old German Script, plus any last minute thoughts.
