Doors open at 12:00 noon. Bring a brown bag lunch and sit, chat, and share your genealogy stories with fellow family historians while you eat.

The program of lectures will begin at 1:00 p.m.

“Ships of Our Ancestors”  1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Millions of our ancestors came to America by sea. This talk overviews Atlantic crossings over the centuries with focus on the mass migration from Eastern Europe around the turn of the last century.

“The Changing Borders of Europe”   2:15 to 3:15 p.m.

As Russia expanded its borders, it absorbed more and more Jews. This talk examines Russia’s efforts to limit the Jews and the borders changes which resulted in towns shifting from one country to another.
