The Legacy Family Tree User Group is a forum to learn this software program, answer

questions, improve your efficiency and assist others with your expertise- whether you use the

free download, Legacy 7, Legacy 8 or Legacy 9.

Legacy Family Tree is one of the most popular software programs to store your family tree. You

can add pictures and documents to your ancestors; create a variety of reports; properly (and painlessly) cite sources; obtain research assistance and much more.

All are welcome to participate! You may want to bring your laptop or tablet to practice your skills as we explore Legacy’s capabilities.

[CA-SCGS] German Interest Group Meeting--Saturday, May 20, 2017

Researching your family tree and finding new, exciting, and sometimes surprising family connections? 

Join the SCGS German Interest Group at their next meeting to be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the SCGS Family Research Library. Don't miss out! 

SCGS ~ German Interest Group at the Red Lion Tavern

Following their May 20th, 2017 meeting, the German Interest Group headed for the Red Lion Tavern for its 2nd annual dinner. The Red Lion Tavern is located at 2366 Glendale Blvd, Los Angeles.

The goal of the SCGS German Interest Group is to provide a wide range of resources both inside and outside the SCGS Library to help trace German families. Throughout 2017, our German Group will renew its "Routing Our Roots" as well as present short programs on German Exiles in Los Angeles County, History of German Towns, Human Interest Stories on folks of German Heritage, learning German Words and Old German Script, plus any last minute thoughts.
